Welcome to today’s
Animal World:
Our Co-Inhabitants
featuring part two of
a two part interview
with Dr. Du Bai of
Formosa (Taiwan),
a veterinarian who is
the director of the Central
Animal Hospital in Taipei.
He is the author of
the book
“Living and Dying of
the Companion Animal”
as well as a telepathic
animal communicator.
By using his gift
for connecting into
the inner world of
our animal friends,
Dr. Du says he has
learned that their purpose
in this world is to
lead humans back to
their original nature.
Can we too communicate
with animals as he does?
Dr. Du says “yes.”
Let us now learn more.
How can people practice
talking with
their dogs and cats?
When you communicate
with them, first,
flip open their ears,
if they have floppy ears.
Next, you have to make them
look into your eyes.
This way they can
focus on talking to you.
If you want them
to look into your eyes,
the only way is
to rub your nose on theirs,
like the way the Eskimos
rub their noses while
greeting one another.
The Eskimos still retain
the customs of
the shamans’ religion,
a very ancient tradition.
So, touch his nose
with yours.
This way the animals
will naturally
pay attention and
adjust their breath
and then they will slowly tell you
what they want to say.
But you have to
remember that animals
think in images.
Benny is the friendly
canine companion of
Ms. Katy Chang.
Dr. Du Bai now talks
with Benny and lets
Ms. Chang what Benny is
thinking and feeling.
Benny… When you call
him, knock on the floor.
Come over; it’s all right.
No shots! No shots!
Great!
He is afraid of shots.
Yes, he is. Good boy, sit down.
Sit down, sit down!
Wonderful! Give me five!
Give me five!
Good boy! Good boy!
Give me your other hand.
Great! You’re so shy!
Benny,
you’re so handsome!
When he does this,
it means “Yes.”
When he licks you,
that means “Yes.”
Sit down.
Yes, great!
Mom says
you’re so handsome!
Benny is so handsome!
Good boy!
Usually he will lick you
or wag his tail.
So you have to first have
an agreement with him.
I just told him to
communicate with me
by licking.
Open his ears and
rub your nose on his.
Remember to touch
his crown at this spot
called the “spirit cover.”
You don’t have to talk,
but you can sense
what he is thinking.
This part of the crown is
the most original part
of our brain.
You see, when I rub on it,
he would
partly close his eyes
and start to focus.
Don’t listen to
the birds chirping.
Pay attention to what
my heart is saying to you.
You touch this spot,
and slowly he will focus
and listen to you.
Even though you don’t
understand what he says,
he is fine with it.
He’ll just not talk so much.
But he is very happy
to see that your wisdom
keeps growing.
Dr. Du Bai says that
many souls are born
as animals on this
physical plane to help
elevate humanity’s
consciousness and to
encourage us to seek out
who we truly are.
What is Benny’s specific
mission in this world?
He is very happy.
He has the Dharma
in his heart.
He wants to teach us.
He always goes to you
while you’re meditating.
Yes.
You can let him stay.
Actually, he is
a Dharma guard.
He meditates longer
than me.
He has had the Dharma
for a long time, but
we forget that he has it.
He is a Dharma guard.
Right? He’s so shy.
When people talk about
him, he is so shy.
Sometimes, in the morning
when I didn’t meditate,
he would go sit on the
cushion and wait for me.
“How come you don’t
come and meditate?”
He will move in the way
that says, “How come
you don’t come
and meditate?”
That’s right.
So he is your teacher.
You can think this way.
He is filled
with the Dharma.
You just consider
his behavior,
whether good or bad,
as a kind of teaching.
Then you have to
filter it yourself and learn
the good aspects only.
A lot of times, he relives
his beautiful past lives.
He so enjoys them.
He feels that it’s a pity
that humans don’t meditate
when it’s time to do it.
So, he urges you to meditate.
Then you just let him
urge you.
You now have
a teaching assistant.
If I told him, “Mommy
is going to meditate now.
You be good, okay?”
Then he would sit there
without stirring.
He wouldn’t
try to follow me.
He knows.
The Dharma is in his heart,
so he is so happy.
His spiritual level is
very high.
Don’t judge him
by his appearance.
Actually his spiritual
level is very high.
Say, “Thank you.”
Thank you, Dr. Du.
Thank you.
You’re welcome.
Don’t forget to say
bye-bye to me.
Say bye-bye, say bye-bye.
Yes, he knows not to kiss.
He’ll just touch the face.
Touch the face, yes, yes.
When we return,
Dr. Du Bai will
share more about
the spiritual qualities of
our animal companions.
Please stay tuned to
Supreme Master
Television.
When we go home,
we shouldn’t just feed our animals
and then go on to do
our own things and
ignore our animals while
they are talking to us.
It’s such a pity,
such a pity.
I truly believe that
everyone has the ability
to communicate with them.
Welcome back to
Animal World:
Our Co-Inhabitants
featuring our talk with
Dr. Du Bai, a telepathic
animal communicator
from Formosa (Taiwan).
Apart from learning how
to converse with their
animal companions,
Dr. Du also believes that
through the practice of
“role exchange,” people
can better understand
the needs of animals.
All in all, just think
how you would wish to be
treated if you were them.
It’s very simple.
I can’t tell you the rules
because we all live under
different circumstances.
In your own circumstance,
you only need to sit down
at your dog’s level, and
exchange roles with him,
so he is you and
you are him, and then
you think how you would
like him to treat you.
After you’ve exchanged
roles with him, you will
know how to treat him.
Climate change is
the biggest challenge
to our planet’s
continued survival.
Animals are well aware
of the severe threat posed
by global warming and
many have expressed
their deep concerns to
Dr. Du Bai
regarding this issue.
They are more worried
than we are.
Actually, I’m concerned
that these animals
might get depression.
They can see a lot of
things clearly, but
99% of the people
can’t understand
the animals’ thoughts.
The animals are more
worried than any one of us.
Like these animals—
I’ve always said that
when they chose to
become animals and
come into our life, or
even become a cow
or a horse, this is a
very big decision because
this is a very difficult way
of practicing spiritually.
Suppose I am a cow today,
I wouldn’t be able to tell
you about a lot of things
because I couldn’t talk.
I could only go
“moo-moo-moo.”
And that’s not the same.
Their worries
often manifest
in a physical manner,
like getting sick.
For example, they would become
anxious and depressed.
They have all these
symptoms.
But they don’t think
in a complex way
like we do.
They just feel from
their own point of view,
like sensing the energies
of the Earth, the wind,
and the water, etc.
In general,
all of the animals are
very, very worried.
Their worries also
come from enduring
the negative energy
of the humans.
That’s why you have to
be very clear about
the best way to
treat your animals.
How do the animals
balance the energy
of the planet
with their own energy?
This is
a very deep question.
The animals never
interfere; they only
endure or accept the situation.
They do want to
change the planet.
Basically, they have
always been changing
and supporting the planet,
so in their mind, they
never think that they are
healing the planet.
That’s just what they
have always been doing.
All animals have
a contribution
to this planet.
The contribution of dogs
and cats is the smallest.
They just keep people
company.
Like fish in the ocean,
they have been
enduring the pollution of
heavy metals.
All they do is endure it.
They never complain
and never regret it.
They just endure it and help lessen
the pollution of the planet.
Consuming meat and
other animal products
seriously endangers
our health.
Those who truly
understand the nature of
animals and do not wish
to see them come to
any harm will definitely
adopt an animal-free diet.
Actually, eating meat is
suicidal because
all the flesh you eat
is toxic.
When people kill a pig
or a cow, the animal
gets so terrified.
When animals are being
killed, they are in terror,
and their terror becomes
toxins, which will
enter your body.
That’s why people have
so many health problems,
like 1,500 kinds of cancer.
It’s very fair.
There are 1,500
cancer genes, and
there are 1,500
cancer-fighting genes as well.
What Supreme Master
has said (about avoiding
meat) is an ancient truth.
She has tried so hard to
teach people this
because people are
self-destructive, and
they keep eating meat.
Here are some closing
thoughts from Dr. Du Bai
about our animal friends.
Basically, they are not
just dogs or cats.
In my view, they are
just like humans,
and they have
a very pure soul.
So, we have to treasure
the company
of such a pure soul.
They are our study mates
and our good friends.
Of course, in some other lifetimes,
they might have been
our parents or
our children.
This is nothing unusual.
A lot of times
we forget these things.
So I keep emphasizing that.
When you start to
realize this,
then you will realize that
you shouldn’t eat them,
and that you should treat
them with kindness.

the Companion Animal”

meat consumption.
