In good governance news, the Great Lakes Council in New South Wales, Australia bans smoking in outdoor dining areas. The local board made the resolution because of the dangers which second-hand cigarette smoke poses to people’s health. The new regulation is considered an extension of indoor smoking restrictions in eating areas.
