Halo and welcome,
jolly viewers.
Across the globe,
family and friends are
reuniting and good cheer
resonates among all.
Indeed,
it is the holiday season,
a time to celebrate life
and love.
In light of
this special time of year,
we are delighted
to share with you
“Cirque Nut.”
It is based on
the classic ballet
“The Nutcracker,”
composed by
Peter Tchaikovsky,
story written by
E. T. A. Hoffman,
and script written by
Marius Petipa.
“The Nutcracker” ballet
has become a timeless
holiday tradition
in many parts of the world.
It is the story
of young Clara,
who receives a
magnificent toy Nutcracker
for Christmas.
She is totally enthralled
with her precious gift.
Later, when
the Nutcracker is broken,
Clara takes gentle care
of him, and eventually
falls asleep.
Thus ensues
a fairy tale adventure
in which Clara and
her cherished Nutcracker
together experience
the joys of a different
dimension of existence.
Through Clara’s devotion
to her beloved Nutcracker,
a magical world
opens for them.
The fairies and angels
come to life, sharing their
bliss and illumination.
Clara’s innate goodness
is amply rewarded with
a fantastical world
of grace and treasures.

Now for the first time,
“Cirque Nut” presents
a unique rendition
of this popular story
using an exciting blend
of ballet and acrobatics.
This grand creation is the
result of the collaboration
between Korean
and Belarusian artists,
producers, and designers.
“Cirque Nut,” produced by the South Korea-based J&S International,
consists of 24 talented
ballet dancers from
the National Belarus
State Choreographic
College and 26 members
of the Belarusian National
Statement Circus.
Two performers
were also members
of the famous
Cirque Du Soleil, including
Olympic medalist
Ms. Yulia Raskina,
who plays the female lead.
Now,
let’s enjoy “Cirque Nut”!
What a magnificent show!
Our thankfulness,
brilliant artists from the
National Belarus State
Choreographic College
and the Belarusian National
Statement Circus,
for this
awe-inspiring production.
The combination
of classical ballet and
acrobatic performances
is indeed a unique wonder
to behold.
