德州發生嚴重旱災

美國總統歐巴馬（Barack Obama）在7月5日宣布德州有12個郡因野火損失慘重，正式列為災區，而整個德州因為發生百年來最嚴重的旱災，受災面積廣泛，因此列為天災災區。

內蒙古自治區嚴重乾旱

中國北部內蒙古自治區（Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region）因去年冬天降雨不足造成嚴重乾旱，截至今年7月有197個水庫乾涸、80萬人缺少飲水，威脅逾400萬畝作物。
