日產新車具備再生能源系統

2011年10月5日，日本的日產汽車（Nissan）展示ＮＳＨ二○一二智慧型未來小屋，特別為災後情況設計，具備再生能源系統，在緊急狀況可連接「聆風」電動車（Leaf electric vehicle）供家中用電。

厄瓜多爾伐林更快威脅生物多樣性

聯合國糧農組織（Food and Agricultural Organization）2011年10月發表的報告指出厄瓜多爾（Ecuador）的伐林速度較其他拉美國家更快，每年喪失20萬公頃正威脅全球部分生物多樣性最豐富的地區。
