Host for 35 years of the popular American TV game show “The Price Is Right,” the 87-year-old Mr. Barker’s contribution to Chimp Haven in Keithville, Louisiana will be used to enlarge the 200-acre sanctuary. This will allow five more chimps, who come from a research laboratory that closed down, to become residents. It will also support their care for one year.

Bravo, Mr. Bob Barker, on your sweet generosity. We wish the intelligent chimpanzees many wonderful years ahead, full of joy and love.

For his long time dedication to our animal friends, Supreme Master Ching Hai is honoring Bob Barker with the Shining World Compassion Award and US$20,000 to further the noble cause with gratitude and all love.
