In world news, Caribbean nations plan to adopt a common regional passport. Called Caripass, it will be valid for travel among all countries which have accepted it, including Jamaica, Trinidad, Antigua and Barbuda and Guyana. Bahamas, Suriname, and Haiti are also working on legislation to be part of the initiative. The use of Caripass is considered to be an integral step towards implementing the Caribbean Single Market and Economy, which will encourage economic unification of the area.

Congratulations, Caribbean nations, on your laudable endeavor. May your efforts meet with much success, promoting greater friendship and prosperity for the amicable people of your region.
