New Zealand air force releases UFO sighting claims. Under New Zealand’s freedom of information laws, the country’s military has released previously classified documents dating from 1954 to 2009 that report on sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFO) and encounters with aliens. The objects were noted by members of the general public as well as military personnel and commercial pilots, with one of the most detailed accounts being a description of lights in the sky that included recorded footage from a television camera crew.
