In world news, Formosa (Taiwan) successfully assisted Âu Lạc (Vietnam) in an agricultural program. Formosan motorbike manufacturer the Chinfon Group launched the eco activity in 2007 to help farmers in the locality of Củ Chi County. As a result, fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, eggplants, guavas, jujubes, and bitter melon are being cultivated. In recognition of this valuable support, the Aulacese government presented The Medal of Agricultural Contribution to Chinfon Group Chairman Mr. Huang Shih-hui and Formosan Mr. Hu Chia-chi, who also contributed to the project.
