On Tuesday, July 7, Supreme Master Ching Hai accepted an invitation to an interview by journalist Ben Murnane for an article that appeared in the Sunday edition of the Irish Independent newspaper on July 12, 2009.

The Irish Independent newspaper is the most widely read daily newspaper in Ireland and is available in all shops, newspaper stands and airports nationwide in Ireland, as well as in the United Kingdom.

The interview with Supreme Master Ching Hai, which took place via videoconference, covered a broad range of topics, from the current critical state of global warming, the swine flu pandemic, organic farming to rising sea levels to the detrimental planetary impact of raising livestock for human consumption.

It also delved into issues related to implementing the organic vegetarian solution to global warming.
