During the annual meeting of the World Federation of UN Associations in South Korea, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon encouraged leaders toward renewed talks to eliminate nuclear weapons.

Citing the recent arms reduction agreement between the US and Russia as a significant event that could lead to similar accords worldwide, the secretary-general stated, “We call it WMD – not Weapons of Mass Destruction but instead ‘We Must Disarm.’
