Chinese President welcomed in France. Arriving for a three-day state visit on Thursday, November 4 to enhance the two countries’ long-term and stable relations, Chinese President Hu Jintao received a red carpet welcome by French President NicNicholas Sarkozy and First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. As they commemorated the establishment of diplomatic ties 46 years ago, the two nations on Friday also signed partnership agreements spanning a wide range of areas, along with pledges made by both leaders to continue deepening their relations through future visits and exchanges.
