On July 23, our Association’s relief team from Formosa (Taiwan) and the Philippines traveled to the worst-hit areas of the City of Cavite and the capital, Manila.
The Manila Social Welfare Department kindly provided the place to pack the relief supplies and asked local villagers to help with the packing and delivering. Finding many roads still flooded and hundreds of homes either damaged or destroyed, the relief team was able to distribute essential packages containing food, hygienic supplies, and treats to 3,000 families. They also gave out informative SOS flyers and global warming DVDs.

We are ever-thankful to Supreme Master Ching Hai for her caring help that brings comfort in urgent times, and thank our Association’s relief team for their earnest efforts.
