A royal crop farm provides income-generating opportunities for villagers in Thailand. - 9 May 2011

The Ban Yang Royal Project is the nation’s first factory to be supplied vegetables and fruit that have been harvested as part of crop substitution projects.

These programs were initiated and encouraged by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The factory produces fruit juice, pickled vegetables, and jam. Furthermore, a child nutritional supplement program and community health office are located at the factory. More than 200 families of diverse cultures and faiths live harmoniously in Ban Yang Village.

Our heartfelt gratitude, Your Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, for this wonderful endeavor. May Buddha bless the gentle people of Ban Yang with flourishing harvests and happy lives on a sustainable Earth.
