EVOLVE FOR ANIMALS is a non-profit grassroots organization whose primary objective is to unabashedly advocate for the total and unfettered rights of non-human animals. Though the cruelties committed toward animals are both egregious and disconcerting, the issue is not necessarily one of treatment but rather that we need not use them at all. As long as the commodification of animals persists, improvements in our treatment of animals will never amount to more than their market value to the industries that profit from them. Pursuing matters of welfare are akin to a person attempting to chase down their own shadow. The misguided concepts of the animal welfare paradigm, such as ‘humane” meat, “cage-free” eggs, and vegetarianism, are not endorsed or accredited here because such sentiments not only lack efficacy, but are economically illogical, ethically inconsistent, morally invalid, and inherently speciesist.

Each of our choices in the past built the world we live in today. And each of our choices from this moment forward will build the world we live in tomorrow. We will build a world reflective of our shared values of justice, kindness and compassion for other people, for the planet and for animals when our everyday choices are aligned with those values. It’s that simple.
