In support of the growing global Meatless Mondays campaign, famed American chef Mario Batali has committed to provide at least two vegetarian options every Monday at each of his 14 restaurants, which span from New York to Los Angeles across the United States.

Chef Batali has also created a special logo to signify and promote the plant-based options. Speaking of his enthusiasm to focus on more veg fare, he said, “Most people in the US eat way more meat than is good for them or the planet.”
