As the first in an international eco-friendly eatery chain, Otarian’s opening in New York City was attended celebrities including Hollywood actress Mary-Kate Olsen as well as Mark Indelicato and Vanessa Williams.
Conceived by Indian billionaire and environmentalist Radhika Oswal, Otarian’s menu displays the carbon footprint for each item, which includes vegetarian and vegan items such as burgers, flatbreads, curries, pasta dishes, soups, salads and desserts.

Built from sustainable materials, the restaurant avoids air-shipped ingredients and practices recycling and composting whenever possible.

Ms. Oswal said, 『Vegetarianism is the most sustainable and environmentally conscious way of eating and being. With Otarian I hope to show that food can be delicious and good for the planet.』 Bravo, Ms. Radhika Oswal and veg eatery Otarian!
