In addition to countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia recently affected by deadly bird flu, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization on August 29 identified a new vaccine-resistant strain of the virus in China and Âu Lạc (Vietnam), saying that it could spread to nearby nations and beyond.
