of our 3-part program,
“Sunyogi Umasankar:
Becoming Food-free
through the Practice
of Sun Yoga,”
on Between Master
and Disciples.
Sunyogi Umasankar is
one of India’s most
well-known sun gazers.
A native from Calcutta,
he developed
an early interest
in yoga and meditation.
Although educated
as a scientist,
at the age of 18,
he decided to spend
a part of his life
walking through
every state of India
to spread the message of
“Universal Unity, Peace
and Brotherhood.”
For six years,
Umasankar Ji
walked throughout
the Indian subcontinent
with no money
or possessions.
Umasankar Ji started
his practice of Sun Yoga
in 1995 while staying at
the Sri Aurobindo Ashram
in Pondicherry,
South India.
Soon, he noticed that
his hunger was dissipating,
and after one year
of practicing Sun Yoga,
he abstained from food
entirely and lived solely
on the sun’s energy
for four months.
From 1996 to 2007,
Umasankar Ji ate only
once a month or
once every few months,
and only when he felt
that he shouldn’t
refuse the food
which was offered to him
by pure-hearted devotees.
Recently, he has completed
a two-year retreat
high in the Himalayas
and has returned
to the world to continue
teaching Sun Yoga.
Umasankar Ji has taught
the art of Sun Yoga to
2 million people worldwide.
Sunyogi Umasankar
explained to
Supreme Master
Television
how he first discovered
the ancient art
of sun gazing in 1995.
That was in the morning
at 7:30 to 8 o’clock –
that was my free time –
so I went to the seashore
for the sea meditation.
At that time, I felt that
if I am wasting my time
then I am wasting my life,
so I have no right
to waste my time.
So I went to the seashore
to look at the sea,
to get some knowledge
from the sea, the ocean.
But I was very lucky,
the sun was rising
on the eastern side
and then sun was reflected
by the sea water
and it came to my eyes.
After having gazed
for the first time
for a prolonged period
at the sun,
Sunyogi Umarsankar
was concerned that
he was losing his eyesight.
My whole eyes
were burning –
not only eyes,
my whole body was burning.
My intellectual mind
told me,
“Oh, I lost my eyesight!
How can I stop it?”
Then I closed my eyes
very, very tightly,
as much as possible,
but the reflecting light,
it was still hurting my eyes.
Then I just turned my eyes
to the opposite side
and opened my eyes.
I felt,
“Oh, I lost my eyesight.”
But when I saw outside,
there I saw the small sand
and it was so clear –
it was visible, very small sand.
Then, I felt, “Oh,
I didn’t lose my eyesight!”
While staying
at Pondicherry,
Umasankar Ji continued
to meditate every morning,
sitting on a rock by the sea.
Although the experience was at first harsh and uncomfortable, after 4 days he started to see
what he described as
“seven bright colors
radiating from the sun,
slowly reaching closer
to the ground.”
Initially, these cosmic rays
did not touch him,
but three months after
he had begun this practice,
he felt that the cosmic
energy from the sun
touched his body
which gave him
a deep feeling of peace.
One day I got success
by my offering,
my surrendering to the sun,
that the light
could touch my body.
Before, I didn’t know
that it is a yoga
and I didn’t have
any expectation, that
I have to get something.
I just got interested,
and my feeling was
that I enjoyed it –
means I got peace.
So that’s why
I was going there.
But that morning that
light touched me, that was
a wonderful morning.
And at noon time,
every day I used to
take a big noontime lunch,
but that day
I couldn’t feel my hunger;
I was not hungry.
Then I felt, “Oh, today
it might be that that light
has touched me and so
I was not feeling hungry.”
Then I felt,
“How it could be?”
So at night, again
I got to my meditation,
to know the process –
how it can be,
to become “hungerless”?
Then, at nighttime
I saw that sunlight when
I was looking through
the pineal gland,
then the pineal gland
got connected
to that cosmic energy
and that cosmic energy
causes the metabolism.
A five-element energy
was separated and
that five-element energy
goes to my brain
to bring back that energy
to send to
each and every organ
and every cell inside.
So through that energy
I got charged
so that’s why
food is not required for me.
Food is not required
for our body;
we need the energy,
that kinetic energy.
So that kinetic energy
also indirectly
comes from the sun.
I got the vision
that trees can receive
through the chlorophyll
that cosmic energy,
the sun energy, so how
I can be able to receive
the sun’s cosmic energy?
Then I saw that inside the blood there are
photoelectric cells.
Those photo-electric cells
can draw that sun energy
and create that
inside food preparation.
So that’s why I got energy
directly from the sun.
Why is the sun
so important to us?
At a videoconference
with Supreme Master
Television staff
on October 3, 2010,
Supreme Master Ching Hai
spoke about
the immense blessing
which the sun offers
to all beings on Earth.
First of all,
physically speaking,
without the sun,
we’d be dying,
or dead or gone already.
Many things cannot grow,
humans cannot grow –
there is no food,
no circulation
of the waters,
purification of the air,
etc., etc.
The sun has
a lot of benefits: the sun
cures many diseases.
For example,
in the old time,
they did not have
tuberculosis medicine yet,
they would put the patient
in a sunny room,
or sunny area,
and open a window,
let the sun come in
to cure the TB.
Of course,
when it’s too heavy,
maybe they cannot,
but maybe
in the initial stage, then
they can cure like that.
The sun cures
your aches and pain,
it eliminates toxins
through sweat –
when it’s hot, you sweat –
and also it cures
some of the diseases
or other ailments.
The sun gives
benefits to all, bad or good.
The sun would glorify
the whole Earth
that we live on and
it gives life to all beings:
plants, minerals,
animals, etc.
The sun gives also people
happiness, carefree feeling.
The sun is necessary
for all on Earth.
Many people
have benefitted from
practicing Sun Yoga.
Ms. Dak Lee
from Kuala Lumpur
describes her experience:
My name is Dak Lee and
I am from Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
I have been
practicing Sun Yoga
for the last ten days
after my retreat
in Kahang, in Johor and
with our teacher, Swami.
I find that Sun Yoga
is very interesting
because it has brought
many benefits to me
and I find that
the most obvious benefits
would be health benefits.
I find that, actually,
my health has improved
tremendously, and actually,
I tested on one
of the health problems
that I have.
I have lazy eyes and
after five days, I managed
to sort out the problems.
I am actually
ninety-five percent
recovered now and
I am very happy with that.
I don’t suffer a lot of
headaches anymore
or strain in my eyes
or in my face.
And the other benefits
that I have experienced
are that my body
is able to regulate heat.
I don’t need to sleep
with air conditioning
or stay in
air conditioning rooms,
even though Malaysia is
a tropical country.
I realize that I do not need
to turn on the fan anymore
even though
it’s very hot outside.
And I find that
I am comfortable with
whatever temperature
that I am in.
And also, another thing is
I find that my mind
is more peaceful and I am
able to concentrate better.
I find that Sun Yoga
has actually helped me
to improve
my concentration quickly
and I am able to
settle down my mind.
Sunyogi Umasankar
explains that there are
no special requirements
that one needs to adhere to
when practicing Sun Yoga.
The sun is for all.
The sun is for the baby,
the sun is for every plant,
everybody; it is there.
Sun Yoga can be
for everybody.
Yoga is the connection
between the soul
to the Supreme Soul.
In our cosmos
to the universal cosmos,
yoga is the balance
of in and out.
So, inner organ
to outer organ, when
we can get balance –
that is yoga.
Through the sun,
we do that balance,
so we call that “Sun Yoga.”
There is no boundary
of caste, color, creed
and religion.
And everybody can do
the sun meditation, and
the principle is that we
have to make friendship
with the sun, we have to
surrender to the sun.
Thank you,

When you’re balance
in and out completely,
the inner cosmos
to the universal cosmos,
when we get balance –
that is enlightenment.
Beginners,
at the very beginning,
they can stop
their monkey mind.
That means they’re
balancing the space element.
And when they are
looking at the sun,
they are not feeling that
the sun is hot – means
they’re balancing
their fire element energy.
After that, they forget
their breath also – means
balancing the air element.
And some, they forget
their thirst also –
means it is balancing
the water element also.

Recently, he has completed

and has returned

Sun Yogi Umasankar
shares with
Supreme Master Television
his process of
becoming food-free
while he was performing
his daily duties at
the Sri Aurobindo Ashram
in Pondicherry.
I stopped eating
my breakfast.
Then it continued
for 6 months.
On the 2nd February
of 1996, I was able to
stop my dinner also.
And then on the 17th
of August, 1996,
I was able to stop
all my eating, drinking,
and even sleeping also.
At that time
I was only meditating.
So, for four months more,
completely,
I was not eating,
not drinking, not sleeping.
And then I felt,
“Oh, I got something!”
And Sun Yoga
is not instant yoga.
Our scriptures mention it
very long ago,
the Upanishads
and in all the scriptures
Sun yoga
has been mentioned.
So in the fourth month,
I got that simple technique,
how we normal people,
we can see the sun
and we can get benefit.
So, how does one
practice Sun Yoga?
Umarsankar Ji explains
the basic technique.
Some simple techniques
used are there,
yama (precepts),
nyama (virtuous actions),
asana (body posture).
So, the first principle
is there.
First, we should
sit properly, if possible
we can sit in padmasana
(lotus posture),
siddhasana
(“perfect” pose),
gomukhasana
(cow-face posture),
vrajrasana (Zen pose).
These four Asanas
are very much preferred
for the sun meditation.
But if somebody can’t sit,
they can sit
at the beginning level
in sukhasana
(easy crossed-legged pose);
and if somebody
can’t sit on the ground,
they can sit on the chair.
But only one thing,
the backbone should be
straight, relax the body,
and sometimes
we have to close our eyes
to prepare our mind.
And then we’ll do
pranam or prostrate
to our own parents,
then we’ll prostrate
to own guru, guardians,
teachers, and to whom
we learn something,
maybe younger,
maybe elder than us,
maybe enemy,
maybe a friend of ours.
Then, if Muslim,
we have to pay respect
to Muhammad;
if we are Buddhist,
we should pay respect
to Lord Buddha;
if we are Christian, then
we should pay respect
to Lord Jesus;
if we are Hindu,
we should pay respect to
all the gods and goddesses,
those we believe in.
Equally important for
the practice of Sun Yoga
is to have
the right attitude of mind.
We should feel
the broad mind:
all living beings
are one family –
maybe human being,
maybe animal being,
insect being,
or plant kingdom –
we are all one family.
We should love all.
Then we have to put
ourselves the question:
“Who am I?
What do I want?
Why do I want it?
What is the purpose of life?
What is the relation
between what do I want
and what I’m doing now?”
Again and again,
we have to put that question
and prepare our mind.
We should not expect
the answer; the answer
will come on time.
Then we put
strong determination:
“I will do it. I must do it.
Then we’ll feel
the sun is our best friend,
our life, and
we’ll prepare our mind
to look at the sun,
to open our eyes,
and make friends with it.
Sunyogi Umasankar
revealed that of the many
thousands of people who
have practiced sun gazing
with the technique
he teaches, many have
improved their eyesight.
He also explained
how to best benefit from
the process of sun gazing
without endangering
our eyes.
Slowly we have to
open the eyes
and look a few inches
above the sun, and
through our pineal gland.
We are not looking
directly with the retina;
the sunlight is not coming
directly to the retina.
Look from the ajna chakra
(the third eye),
means the center point
over the eyebrow.
When we are getting that
there is the pineal gland,
the pineal gland
will be activated.
And while
we are looking there,
a few inches above the sun,
when we are able to
adjust, the eyes are not
getting pain, so then
the eyes get relaxed.
Then we can see through
the pineal gland
at the center of the sun.
And slowly, slowly,
we can see the sun,
inside, will be a black hole.
So that’s the way
we have to look,
that is the beginning level.
How can gazing at
a physical object
such as the sun benefit
our spiritual development?
In a videoconference
with Supreme Master
Television staff,
Supreme Master
Ching Hai
explained that the sun,
as well as the moon
and the stars, exists
not only as objects
on the material plane
but are in fact
great spiritual beings.
The Sun is
a great, great, great,
great spiritual being,
who manifests himself
to help our planet,
to nourish all beings
on our Earth.
So, we always have to
thank the Sun.
And in the ancient time,
people worshipped
the Sun God and
for that reason as well.
He is beautiful, beautiful
inside;
loves us all the time.
No discriminating,
always love, love, love.
And whenever you
look up to the Sun, you
feel only love, love, love.
And if you have time,
you sit in the sun
sometime,
you feel happier, no?
( Yes.)
That’s why in summer
people feel very happy,
happier than in winter
because it’s due to
the plentiful sunshine,
yes, plenty of sunshine.
And it’s not because
the Sun doesn’t love us
in winter.
It’s just that the absence
of his presence
makes us forget
the happiness within us.
The Sun has also
beings in it,
but not physical beings.
The beings in the Sun
also help the great being
of the Sun
to protect our planet, to
help all things to grow,
and to send us happiness.
All they do is just send us
bliss and happiness
and love.
They exist just for that.
One of Sunyogi
Umasankar’s students,
Mr. Datoallen Yong,
speaks to
Supreme Master Television
about his experience
through the practice
of Sun Yoga.
My name is
Datoallen Yong
from Malaysia.
I started this Sun Yoga
gazing since 2007.
I met my Sun Yoga
Master Umasankar
at Nainital, at the foothills
of the Himalayas.
I started to do Sun gazing
and I found
the tremendous benefits
that I have obtained.
Firstly, I became
a much calmer person,
and I can see a lot of
clarity in my mind,
and love starts
to pervade around me,
and I exude a lot of love
because Sun Yoga
makes me a loving person.
And more importantly,
I am a meditator, so
I manage to stay focused
in my meditation;
I stay a longer time
because it really
enhances my meditation.
And also eventually,
I begin to know more
about myself and
to understand more about
what is my next journey.
So it comes back to
self realization eventually.
The sun energy is free,
so anyone can enjoy it.
It is a life-sustaining energy.
In 2007,
Sun Yogi Umasankar
began to eat regularly
again, not because
he felt the need to eat
but because he felt that
the people around him
paid too much attention
to the fact
that he had renounced
eating and drinking.
According to
Umasankar Ji,
becoming food-free
is only a by-product of
the practice of Sun Yoga
while the main goal is
spiritual enlightenment.
Actually,
enlightenment is the way
we get connection
from the inner soul
to the universal soul –
that is enlightenment.
When you’re balance
in and out completely,
the inner cosmos
to the universal cosmos,
when we get balance –
that is enlightenment.
So when we are
looking at the sun then,
at the very beginning –
beginners also feel this
when they are
looking the sun –
the sun becomes soft
and they saw the blue sky
inside the sun.
Then I ask them,
“Was your monkey mind
disturbing to you?”
They were surprised.
They forgot themselves
and they told me,
“No, there cannot be
a monkey mind;
it was stopped.”
You see,
that “monkey mind”
means a disturbed mind.
To make it stop,
it is very, very tough,
very, very difficult.
But beginners,
at the very beginning,
they can stop
their monkey mind.
That means
they’re balancing
the space element.
And when they are
looking at the sun,
they are not feeling
that the sun is hot –
means they’re balancing
their fire element energy.
After that, they forget
their breath also –
means balancing
the air element.
And some, they forget
their thirst also –
means it is balancing
the water element also.
And after practicing
sun meditation,
everybody was
completely relaxed.
They enjoyed their life;
they are not feeling tired
and they themselves then
forget their age limit also.
Because of that
much relaxation is there.
That means it gives us
the earth element benefit,
balance, also.
During his stays
in the Himalayas,
Sunyogi Umasankar
had the great fortune
to have the darshan
of the great immortal
Master Mahavatar Babaji
twice.
From Sri Babaji,
Umsankar Ji learnt
the secret of
the 29 chakras as well as
other secrets of
the universe and Creation.

In scriptures,
the human body
is often referred to
as the temple of God.
Yet, it is quite
an uncommon privilege
for any soul to
attain this sacred abode
that houses the Divine,
as it is truly a blessing
to be reborn
as a human being.
On several occasions,
Supreme Master Ching Hai
has spoken about the rarity
of this phenomenon:
To be reincarnated in
the human world is hard.
You have to have
enough Human Quality.
You have to have
affinity with the parents
and with the society,
with the people around
which you are born.
Very difficult.
To be a human,
you need some merit.
You have done
something good
in the past
in order to be able
to pick a human birth.
As a living temple of God,
the human body
is fully equipped
with miraculous wonders
that can be awakened
in those who
are spiritually conscious
and have complete faith
in the Creator of all life.
Inedia,
Latin for “fasting,”
is the human ability
to live without food.
Since time immemorial,
there have always been
individuals who
can sustain themselves
on prana,
or the vital life force.
Through the grace of
the Providence, inediates,
people who follow
a food-free lifestyle,
can draw the energy
from nature
to nourish themselves:
They live on the chi
from the ground,
or from the forest,
and from the sun
and from the air.
They make use
of all that.
Or they live on love,
on faith alone.
These individuals are
known as breatharians(pranarians or inediates),
solarians, or waterians,
and they come from
all walks of life, from
different cultures, and
all corners of the world.
Indeed, the possibilities
and miracles in this life
as our benevolent Creator
has designed for us
are endless;
we only need to connect
within to recognize
our abounding largess
as God’s children.
Supreme Master Ching Hai
has lovingly
recommended
a weekly series on
Supreme Master Television
to introduce
those individuals
of the past and present
who have chosen to
live food-free on Earth.
May their spiritual stories
enthrall you;
may hearts be opened,
and horizons be expanded.
We now invite you to
join us for the final part
of our 3-part program,
“Sunyogi Umasankar:
Becoming Food-free
through the Practice
of Sun Yoga,”
on Between Master
and Disciples.
The sun is
the ultimate source
of all the living beings,
all the living source.
So the sun can help us
in all aspects.
The sun energy,
when we are gazing
through the pineal gland,
that energy charges
our each and every cell,
when it is passing through
each and every cell,
where the toxins are,
where the blockage are,
that blockage energy
will be discharged
by the sun cosmic energy.
Sunyogi Umashankar is
one of India’s most
well-known sun gazers.
A native from Calcutta,
he developed
an early interest
in yoga and meditation.
Although educated
as a scientist,
at the age of 18,
he decided to spend
a part of his life
walking through
every state of India
to spread the message of
“Universal Unity, Peace
and Brotherhood.”
Umashankar Ji started
his practice of Sun Yoga
in 1995 while staying at
the Sri Aurobindo Ashram
in Pondicherry,
South India.
Soon, he noticed that
his hunger was dissipating,
and after one year
of practicing Sun Yoga,
he abstained from food
entirely and lived solely
on the sun’s energy
for four months.
From 1996 to 2007,
Umashankar Ji ate only
once a month or
once every few months,
and only when he felt
that he shouldn’t
refuse the food
which was offered to him
by pure-hearted devotees.
Recently, he has completed
a two-year retreat
high in the Himalayas
and has returned
to the world to continue
teaching Sun Yoga.
When Sunyogi Umsankar
first started his practice
of sun gazing in 1995,
he was surprised
that after three days
his sight became
so sharpened that
he was suddenly able to
see water molecules.
On the third day
I was able to see
water molecules, small,
small water molecules.
Then I felt “How I can
see the water molecules,
am I dreaming?”
Then I rolled my eyes
very hard, very hard,
and again watched.
No, there were
the same things, that means
I was not dreaming.
Then I just pinched myself,
“Yes, I’m not dreaming,
so how it could be?”
And for knowing that,
at night time I was
sitting on the seashore
for meditation,
looking for the solution,
how it could be,
and suddenly,
in deep meditation
I saw my own brain,
the cerebrum, cerebellum,
and pineal gland,
how the internal work
is going on, I saw there.
How 2% of brain
we are using, and
all the external technology
we’ve got developed,
so 2% of the brain
is the external brain
and 98% of the brain
is our internal brain.
There is
an internal technology.
We are not able to use
that internal technology.
I saw Galileo standing there,
and how Galileo
was arising the thought
to get the discovery
of the telescope.
Then I got interested,
“That 2% of the brain
has created that telescope
and our 98, 100%
of the brain is higher
than this telescope.
So my vision power
is much better than
the telescope, so that’s why
it (the water molecules)
could be visible.”
In addition to
enhancing one’s vision,
as is the case with
Sunyogi Umansankar,
practitioners of Sun Yoga
discuss how the practice
has enhanced their lives.
I am Youngka from
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
Three years ago,
I had a nasty liver problem
and the doctor told me
it’s about 80% damaged.
On that day I was very down.
I went back home,
I watched
a documentary channel
and discovered
about sun meditation.
After the 10-day course, I was not feeling sick
or had any disturbance
on myself.
Feel energetic now, already
for the past three years.
I think that
the most important benefit
is that it makes me
a happier person
and I smile more.
In a videoconference
with Supreme Master
Television,
Supreme Master Ching Hai
also spoke about
the many benefits
that the sun brings,
including the potential
for one to become food-free
through sun gazing.
I myself love the sun.
I adore the sun.
I could stay in the sun
all day, and if it is too hot
I just cover a little bit
with the cloth.
I could look at the sun,
midday even;
it doesn’t hurt me.
It regulates,
or it screens a little bit
so that my eyes won’t hurt.
The sun is
a beautiful being.
I love the sun forever.
I love the sun a lot, and
the sun loves us forever.
Remember I told you
how I feel better in a tent
than in a big house? (Yes.)
I still do. Why?
Because more contact
with the sun,
more shining through
and less restriction.
Because
the tent is very small,
when you sit in the tent,
even if you are not outside
in the sun,
the sun shines through.
You feel happier.
If you gaze into the sun
about 10 or so minutes
in the morning,
early morning,
when the sun just rises,
and 10 or so minutes –
more or less…
more, not less –
in the evening,
when the sun sets.
Some people do that
so they don't have to
eat anymore, okay? (Yes.)
And health benefits,
you know already;
I told you.
If we go sunbathing,
it cures many illnesses
and even cures our
psychological misalignment
and also depression
and all that.
You see, some countries
with less sun,
they feel less happy
than the countries
with a lot of sun.
Sunyogi Umasankar
shared with us
the knowledge
of the 29 chakras
and the different stages
on the path of Sun Yoga.
This knowledge
had been revealed to him
by the immortal master
Mahavatar Babaji during
Sunyogi Umasankar’s stays
in the Himalayas.
In the samadhi stage,
at that time
the mind force is higher
than the gravitation force,
so at that time
our body weight
would be negative.
Easily, our life force will
come out from the body,
but our subconscious mind
will be connected,
so we will not die
but the doctor will check,
our pulse will be dead.
We are dead,
the doctor will declare,
but still we are alive,
we can come back.
So “sama-adhi” means
we are inside and outside,
we are the microcosm
and macrocosm.
We got connection,
so we make the balance –
so that’s called enlightened.
But Sun Yoga
not only stops
in the enlightened stage,
Sun Yoga is started
from there.
Yoga is the connection
between the soul
and the supreme soul,
from the inner cosmos
to the universal cosmos.
At that time,
only we got connection
with the universe.
So, Sun Yoga is started
from there,
and there are so many
higher, higher stages.
A medical investigation
conducted by
the Kaivalyadhama
Research Institution
in Lonavla, India,
concluded that
Sunyogi Umashankar’s
overall physical fitness
level remained unchanged
after a period of
being food-free
and that he “had achieved
a substantial control
over his heart activity.”
The stage when we are
just after samadhi,
that is the Amrit chakras -
means we can
conquer our hunger,
then we can
conquer our thirst also.
That is called
Jivanmukta chakras.
After that we can get
a “diseaseless” body –
means there will be
no disease.
After that is
the Paramhansa stage –
means everywhere
will be equal.
At that time, we will not
be disturbed anywhere.
That is
the Paramhansa stage.
Then the Swatana stage,
means no enemy,
including the animals.
Then the Amar chakra,
means our body
can be immortal;
it’s possible.
Some people
of the scientific mind
are thinking
how it could be possible.
You see,
the environmental vibration
and the body-mind
vibration will be equal.
At that time,
the environment cannot
disturb our life force,
so the life force
will not be destroyed by
the environmental energy.
So that’s why this body,
we can keep it
a much longer time.
That’s called
the immortal body.
So as Maha Avatar
(Babaji), from whom
I learned that,
he is still alive; he is
minimum 1500 years old
and he gave me darshan
in the Himalayas twice.
And he came
through the light and
the light started vibrating
and after that vibration
he came out
in the physical body,
and his body was alive –
and his eyes,
there were movement,
his smiling face –
and he gave me
all this knowledge
of the 29 chakras, what
I’m now explaining here.
And he gave me
that creation law
of the universe and
why creation was started
and what mistakes
we are doing,
why global warming
that we created.
All the creation laws,
and how the mistakes
could be solved also –
everything
Babaji has taught me.
So that’s why
I’m very grateful.
I’m very thankful
to Maha Avatar Babaji
who taught me, actually
it is his knowledge.
So after that,
slowly, slowly we can
get connection totally
with the sun and moon.
So, the enlightened stage
is the very beginning stage
for the Sun Yoga.
“Enlightened stage”
means when our
inside cosmic light and
the universal cosmic light
become one,
got balance, peaceful.
Our sincere thanks
to Sunyogi Umasankar
for sharing his experience
of living food-free
through the practice
of Sun Yoga, as well as

knowledge of Sun Yoga.
