In animal news, French inmates derive many benefits from taking care of our co-inhabitants. The Animal Affinity Club in Strasbourg matches up small animals with people that are presently incarcerated. It has been found that interaction with the rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, or birds helps the caregivers to be calm, enhances their self-confidence, and improves the quality of their relationships. Due to the program’s success, it may be extended to other institutions. Kudos, The Animal Affinity Club, for your innovative project. Our heartfelt appreciation, all beautiful animal friends and dedicated human companions, for sharing your good will and love. May all people discover what a joy it is to have a lovely, loyal best animal friend.
