Dr. Qin Dahe
Dr. Qin Dahe, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a researcher on the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, received the prestigious French Grenoble Medal.

J.K. Rowling
J. K. Rowling, British author of the popular “Harry Potter” series, was honored with the highest civilian award as Knight in the Legion of Honor by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Aman Rehman
8-year-old Aman Rehman in India designed his first animation program at the age of three, now he has created over 1,000 animated movies, teaches at the College of Interactive Arts in Dehra Dun, and was honored with a “Proud Child” award by the President of India. 

Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio was honored for his documentary “The 11th Hour” at the Cinema for Peace Gala Night with the event’s International Green Film Award.

Wall-E
“Wall-E”, the pro-environment movie, won Best Animated Film at the annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards.
