  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a little turmeric
  • 1½ teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Vegetable:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Ginger
  • Cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon (or any other pepper)
  • Eggplants
  • Tomatoes
  • Spinach (or any other greens)
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Chickpeas (or tofu)
  • Cane sugar
  • 1½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro, basil, parsley)
