2 cups minced vegetarian meat (pre-soaked)
1 or 2 stalks (3 Tbsp)
lemongrass (white part of stem only),
finely chopped (or 1 Tbsp dried lemongrass)
¼ cup finely chopped onion
Some chopped cilantro for topping
2 Tbsp vegetable oil

SEASONINGS:
1 Tbsp Maggi soy sauce
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp vegetarian seasoning
Pinch of ground black pepper
½-1 tsp chili sauce (optional)
Salt to taste (optional)


  1. Soak the minced vegetarian meat in water until it become soft.
  2. After soften, add in the finely chopped lemongrass to it.
  3. Add in about half a tablespoon of Maggi Soy Sauce.
  4. Add in about 1 spoon and a little more of sugar.
  5. Sprinkle some black pepper.
  6. Add some spicy pepper (optional).
  7. Let the vegetarian meat marinate the seasoning for a while.
  8. Heat some oil in a pot.
  9. Add in a little bit natural flavor enhancer and about the same amout of sugar.
  10. When the oil gets hot, toss in the chopped fresh onion or dried onion flakes, which ever is available.
  11. Add in the seasoned vegetarian meat and fry until it is all cooked thoroughly.
  12. Fry until it is golden and dry.
  13. Serve it with some coriander on top.
