Inner change will transform the world.

During the recent videoconference with Supreme Master Ching Hai in Penghu, Formosa (Taiwan), Supreme Master Ching Hai explained the constructive effects of vegetarianism on a range of aspects of our lives. A compassionate heart and diet not only shields from global warming, it could dramatically improve the world we live in.

Videoconference with Supreme Master Ching Hai
Penghu, Formosa (Taiwan) – August 2, 2008

Our Association member: Hallo, most merciful Master, in order for our extraterrestrial friends to show up and help us, sharing with us all that they want to share, how many people should be vegetarian on Earth, and what spiritual elevation and behavioral changes are required? Thank you, Master.

Supreme Master Ching Hai : At least 70% of the world’s population has to become vegetarian in order to avert the situation of global warming on Earth. If all of us human beings become vegetarian, we do not need the extraterrestrials at all. We will surpass them. We should pray to our inner Almighty power. The extraterrestrials are just human beings. They might have more advanced technology, but not all of them are higher than us in spiritual level. We all have the inner Almighty power to protect us.
The main thing is we have to have high morality, diligently practice spiritually, and contribute selflessly, and then we will be fine by ourselves. And if all human beings on Earth change our hearts to love animals and become vegetarian, the atmosphere will change and everyone will become more intelligent. We will invent and develop a great deal of machines and various technologies. It will be beyond our imagination of how rich, comfortable, and advanced our life will be at that time.

VOICE: Thank you Supreme Master Ching Hai for the assurance that humanity is graced with self-protection and great potential to bring blessing to our world, and for sharing the exciting prospects that these qualities can bring. May we all draw upon our inner Heavenly power to eliminate fear and face our future with only love.

Please tune in to Between Master and Disciples on Supreme Master Television at a later date for the broadcast of this videoconference with Supreme Master Ching Hai, with multi-language subtitles.

Scientists witness disappearance of Arctic sea ice firsthand.

A team of researchers from 60 countries accompanied by television correspondents boarded the Canadian Coast Guard’s Louis S. St Laurent to explore the rapid changes in the Arctic being caused by human-induced global warming. With the Arctic heating twice as fast as the rest of the world, its protective ice is likely to be gone very soon, for the first time in 16 million years. Once this happens, warming could become even more rapid, as the release of carbon dioxide and methane from thawing permafrost will cause a feedback effect. The researchers on this expedition hope to raise awareness that the rapid pace and magnitude of these Arctic changes have rapidly serious implications for humans.

We are grateful, esteemed scientists, for your insights into the alarming changes we are causing to our fragile biosphere. We pray that governments and individuals alike take swift steps to create a cooling effect by adopting practices such as the beneficial vegetarian diet.

Global warming produces more intense precipitation.

US and British researchers have released a study based on 20 years of satellite data, that confirms the link between a warming climate and an increase in strong rainstorms. Their findings include the observation that extreme rainfalls are occurring even more frequently than previous computer models had predicted. This data provides conclusive evidence of the link between a warming climate and the powerful storms with their devastating floods that impact vital aspects of human life.

Our appreciation, international scientists, for this clear confirmation of the link between weather and global warming, which further highlights our need to act now to avert its further effects.
