Russia celebrates Unity Day. On Thursday, November 4, Russians commemorated the day symbolizing national solidarity, in which people from every sphere of society unite to uphold the shared goals of Russian statehood. In addressing guests visiting the Kremlin, President Dmitry Medvedev noted that national unity is more than just a figure of speech, it’s an important value and forms the foundation of the country’s multilateral history, which unites many traditions and customs. Many celebrations were also held in the capital city of Moscow, including a 20,000-person Russian March to celebrate national pride and honor past veterans.
Our congratulations, Your Excellency and Russia as we wish all people of your nation a wonderful Unity Day! May Heaven bless your country with ever more shared understanding and national pride as you progress in prosperity and peace.
