Research from the University of Alberta in Canada, published in the July 2011 issue of the journal Bioscience, reports that as climate change causes spring to occur earlier, the native trees and wildflowers across Alberta province are blooming sooner, which is endangering their reproduction as they become more vulnerable to frosts.
