A study conducted in Halls Creek, Western Australia found that police calls, violence and hospital admissions dropped significantly within eight months of implementing a measure that banned mid- and full-strength alcohol sales. The report showed that in fact police calls and hospital admissions were reduced by half in just three months and that violence and
drink-driving incidents also decreased.

Bravo Halls Creek, Australia and what wonderful news! We look forward to seeing many more towns and cities enacting similar bans of such harmful substances to improve individual lives and community tranquility.
