At a meeting on Friday, October 16, the governments of Macedonia and Kosovo were able to settle a border issue that had been outstanding for the previous eight years, leading the way to re-establishing full diplomatic relations. Kosovo’s parliament has ratified the agreement already, with Macedonia soon to follow.
