Senior officials from Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan gathered in Vienna, Austria this past week for a high-level ministerial meeting to discuss measures for improving illegal drug control and strengthen trust and confidence in their region.

To better their operations, officials agreed to appoint permanent officers to a joint
planning committee in Tehran, Iran as well as establish border liaison offices and collaborative patrols.

Our accolades, Iranian, Afghan, and Pakistani ministers, for your advancements to ensure the protection of your region. With such noble and cooperative endeavors, surely our world will soon be liberated from these harmful substances so that all people may shine in vibrant health.
