In animal news, a new monkey species has been found in Colombia. Conservation International, based in the United States, announced the earlier sighting of the Caquetá titi monkey by researchers from the National University of Colombia. The size of a cat, this remarkable red bearded primate is regarded as critically endangered. There is evidence of an existing population of only about 250. The Caquetá titi monkey is monogamous, with couples forming a life-long relationship. Our heartfelt appreciation, scientists of National University of Colombia, for your wonderful discovery; also, many thanks, Conservation International, for sharing this good news. May we honor and protect the God-given right of all our loving animal co-inhabitants to flourish on our shared planet.
