Climate change prediction breakthrough

Scientists find new way to predict climate change. After three years of research, New Zealand and Scottish scientists have discovered a new method to help predict the speed of climate change by measuring the amount of historic carbon stored in the soil that is released into the atmosphere. As the planet warms, the scientists are also saying that a ‘chain reaction’ could be generated, with greater amounts of the released CO2 causing further warming. Scientist David Whitehead stated, “It could almost be a runaway reaction.” We offer our appreciation, New Zealand and Scottish scientists, for your dedicated efforts that reveal another aspect of the dire situation we are facing on Earth. May findings such as yours mobilize leaders and world citizens toward immediate actions to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure a positive future for all.
