Government should support organic vegan farming. The House Magazine is the most read weekly publication in the Palace of Westminster, home to the United Kingdom’s Houses of Parliament. In its latest September 2009 edition, an interview with Supreme Master Ching Hai is presented, with her perspectives on climate change and other issues facing global leaders.
In the following excerpt, she explains how the practice of organic vegan farming can bring manifold climate benefits, including lowered greenhouse gas emissions, improved ecosystems, and health.
Supreme Master Ching Hai: The MPs and the government can support this organic vegan farming through subsidies. They can also redirect the funds away from the meat industry and instead toward encouraging citizens to plant, to buy and to choose organic vegan food.
And when they do, we will soon have a lot of healthy, happy, productive people, a restored green environment, and minimum climate mitigation costs – something all governments can look forward to and gain the enthusiastic support of all citizens.
VOICE: The House Magazine is available by subscription at www.housemag.co.uk to members of the public in addition to Parliament leaders. Many thanks The House Magazine for providing up-to-date and beneficial information to your readers.
Our gratefulness for Supreme Master Ching Hai’s caring words at this fragile time. May the solution of the organic vegan lifestyle be widely adopted in the UK and worldwide for everyone’s protection.
Please tune in for the broadcast of this interview at a later date on Supreme Master Television’s Words of Wisdom with multi-language subtitles.
Neighboring planet Venus, a former haven of life. In detailed scans of the Venusian atmosphere, data from the European Space Agency’s Venus Express craft has discovered a form of water in the upper atmosphere known as heavy water, or deuterium.
This information, which was presented last Wednesday, September 9 at the European Planetary Science Congress in Germany, indicates that Venus was once lush with water.
Researcher Emmanuel Marcq of the LATMOS laboratory in France stated, “This enrichment of heavy water provides strong evidence that water loss is occurring in the upper atmosphere and that Venus was probably more humid and Earth-like in the distant past.”
Further data gathered also shows that Venus was struck at some point by runaway global warming, which was spurred on by heat-trapping water vapor. Dr. Louis Irwin, professor of biological sciences at the University of Texas in the USA, explained in a telephone interview with Supreme Master Television.
Dr. Louis(m): As water became more scarce on the surface of Venus the CO2 remained
in the atmosphere So the combination of water and CO2 then uh, made the surface so warm, trapped so much heat, that the oceans evaporated and filled the atmosphere with dense water vapor high in the clouds.
VOICE: We thank Dr. Irwin, Dr. Marcq and the scientists at the European Space Agency for revealing this knowledge of our planetary neighbor. Let us heed the detrimental fate of Venus and quickly work to become better stewards of our Earth. During an August 2009 videoconference with Supreme Master Television staff in California, USA, Supreme Master Ching Hai described Venus’s situation in more detail to help in alleviating our own planetary crisis.
Supreme Master Ching Hai: It was once a beautiful planet, and now it’s no more.
Supreme Master Ching Hai: Because of the poisonous gases, yes from livestock. It triggered all the gases, yeah? from the ocean, from the warm ocean as you know. It’s similar to our planetary problem right now.
They did not really care about this vegetarian diet.
They did not really go into any spiritual dimension.
Supreme Master Ching Hai: Any planet who have harbored or who practice such a lifestyle, they will also have to face the threat of extinction like what we are doing right now.
Supreme Master Ching Hai: As long as you are vegan, we can save the planet already and Heaven is happy.
