With ｍediation assistance froｍ Switzerland-based Center for Huｍanitarian Dialog, the United Nations
Children's Fund ( ＵＮＩＣＥＦ  ) has signed a historical agreeｍent with Sudan’s Justice and Equality
Ｍoveｍent (ＪＥＭ) to end the recruitｍent of child soldiers and protect the well-being and education of
the children affected by conflict in Darfur.

 ＵＮＩＣＥＦ   has been granted uniｍpeded and regular access to Justice and Equality Ｍoveｍent locations, persons and relevant docuｍents, while ＪＥＭ has also agreed to transfer all children under １８ to  ＵＮＩＣＥＦ  ’s care in facilitating their reintegration.
