Researchers at Liverpool John Moores University of Great Britain reported that 93% of campers said this outdoors activity could make people happier. Among other results, 77% of campers are satisfied with their quality of life compared to 59% of those who do not camp.
Furthermore, 80% of children feel their parents are more relaxed when the family is camping. Increased optimism and energy and improved social interaction were also noted.
Our many thanks, Liverpool John Moores University, for highlighting some of the benefits of this wonderful recreational pastime. May we all partake of the abundant gifts which Mother Nature so freely and lovingly offers.
