With six cases of foodborne infection linked to the consumption of duck eggs in Ireland in recent months, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is investigating the continued outbreak of Salmonella, which causes symptoms such as stomach cramps, vomiting, fever and can be ultimately fatal.
