In animal news, dogs in the workplace promote a more productive atmosphere. According to a study by Mr. Christopher Honts and Mr. Matthew Christensen of Central Michigan University in the United States, canines in the office helped to increase collaboration. The researchers tested 12 groups of four individuals who did not know each other. They discovered that team members asked to perform a task together with a dog in the room rated their colleagues higher than those without a canine in the room. These included in the areas of trust, team cohesion, and closeness. Our thankfulness, Mr. Christopher Honts and Mr. Matthew Christensen, for highlighting yet another of the wonderful gifts our canine friends share with us. May our loyal and loving co-inhabitants be graced with carefree lives and adoring families.
