INGREDIENTS for 2 rolls of walnut and 2 rolls of poppy seed beigli:
For the pastry:
  • 500 grams plain flour
  • 250 grams vegetable margarine
  • 40 grams caster sugar
  • 10 grams vanilla sugar
  • 10 grams fresh yeast
  • 1 coffeespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 1 dl vegetable milk.

Ingredients for walnut filling:
  • 200 grams ground walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ lemons grated rind
  • 20 grams raisins
  • 60 ml vegetable milk
  • 60 grams brown sugar
  • 20 grams vanilla sugar
  • a pinch of salt.

Ingredients for poppy seed filling:
  • 200 grams ground poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ lemons grated rind
  • 20 grams raisins
  • 60 ml vegetable milk
  • 80 grams brown sugar
  • 20 grams vanilla sugar
  • a pinch of salt.
  • 50 grams apricot jam to spread the top of the beigli
  • 20 grams vegetable margarine and
  • 20 grams flour to spread the tray with
