China’s Cabinet authorizes free medical treatment for babies’ illness caused by tainted milk. - 21 Sep 2008
The harmful chemical melamine, found recently in liquid and powdered milk products in China, has caused four children to lose their lives with over 6,200 who have become ill. While many have recovered, over 1,300, mostly infants, remain hospitalized and 158 are in serious condition. A widespread milk recall has been issued, and the government has said that free medical treatment should be provided to any child who has been affected.

Thank you China, for your concern and detailed care for the lives and well-being of the children. We send our sympathies to those who have suffered loss and pray for the affected children to soon recover their complete health.
