The system has been developed by Smart Solar International with offices in Tokyo and California. It has a row of aluminum mirror bars which rotate according to the movements of the sun.
They reflect back onto a central tube, which contains several high-performance, multi-layered solar cells. The model, which will begin being manufactured in August 2011, can also be utilized to heat water.
Kudos, Japan, on your Earth-loving innovation. We wish you much success in helping to bring clean, eco-friendly energy to our cherished world.
