Data from the Cancer Research UK showed that liver cancer caused by over-drinking and obesity has tripled since 1975.

Also on the rise are liver cirrhosis and the previously rare primary liver cancer, which has nearly tripled as well.
To reduce this risk, Cancer Research UK’s Director of Cancer Information, Lesley Walker recommends sensible lifestyle choices that include reduced meat and alcohol consumption, with exercise and higher intake of fiber, fruits and vegetables.

Director Walker, Cancer Research UK and all others working to protect public health, our appreciation for yet another reason to avoid the harms of meat and alcohol.

We look forward to greeting a new era where everyone opts for wholesome lifestyles that bring clear-minded happiness for themselves and their loved ones.
