China forgives Sudanese debt. Chinese ambassador in Khartoum, Li Chengwen announced the signing of an agreement to waive Sudan’s debt of US$6 million in efforts to assist the country’s emerging stability and security. Ambassador Li also affirmed China’s continued support in areas such as economic development.
