At a special meeting of the nation’s Security Council, His Excellency Dmitry Medvedev highlighted the need for a unified policy and implementation plan to eliminate illegal drugs.

He stated, “Drug addiction hits increasingly younger drug users, which is a threat to the country's national security, and a serious challenge to the health of the nation.”

Measures discussed included mandatory drug testing for students in Russia’s schools, to be able to identify drug addiction at its earliest stage.

Our respectful accolades and appreciation, Your Excellency, for your commitment to the well-being of Russian fellow citizens. May all leaders be motivated toward such steps to promote life-sustaining habits for every individual.
