Texas drought will harm wildlife habitat for years - 13 Aug 2011

Wildlife experts in Texas, USA report on August 8, 2011 that the state’s worst one-year drought in history will impact wildlife for years, even as their habitat recovers, with the lack of water adversely affecting both nesting areas and birth rates.

In new studies published in August 2011 by India's Network for Climate Change Assessment, mitigation measures are urged as the agency states that continued warming is causing the nation's water sources to decline along with agricultural production.
