India’s Health Ministry announces the opening of 19 hospital-based tobacco cessation centers, with plans to double the number across 21 states as well as provide training for doctors in an effort to assist citizens nationwide in freeing themselves of the harmful habit.

For its thoughtful and lifesaving initiatives, Supreme Master Ching Hai is honoring India’s Health Ministry with the Shining World Leadership Award.
