During a meeting in London, UK between US special envoy George Mitchell and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,the issue of ending settlements in the Palestinian territories was discussed.

An agreement was reached regarding the importance of restarting comprehensive peace negotiations with Palestinian parties with US-Israeli follow up meetings toward this goal that will commence in Washington, DC, USA next week.

We appreciate your efforts to advance the peace process, Your Excellencies. Our best wishes for continued progress for the harmonious coexistence of all brethren in the Middle East.
