The Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act, passed by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama, bans US mail delivery of cigarettes and other tobacco products.

It also imposes sales tax on all cigarettes purchased through the Internet and on Native American reservations. The PACT Act seeks especially to protect youths from engaging in the harmful habit of smoking by preventing purchases made at lower prices and without proper identification.

We laud this new initiative, Your Excellency, US legislators and United States, that helps protect the wellbeing of citizens.  Blessed be such measures in leading the way to the clean and healthy air of a smoke free world.
