Live Vegetarian Congress to be broadcast from the United Arab Emirates. The first ever Middle East Veg Congress will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 6-7 at the Dubai International Exhibition Center, with the public invited to engage in an interactive exploration of the plant-based lifestyle. Organized by the Middle East Veg Group (MEVEG) and endorsed by the Dubai Health Authority of the United Arab Emirates, the event is providing two days of seminars, workshops, and video telecasts with experts from around the world, along with rejuvenating veg cuisine.
Speakers include expert researchers, health professionals, such as the esteemed Professor BM Hegde of India, a cardiologist who has developed innovative approaches to wellness; environmentalists, farmers and others like behavioral psychologist and TV personality Zaufyshan Haseeb who will also be hosting the event, and Nils El Accad, CEO of Organic Foods & Café, the largest enterprise of its kind in the region. They will be sharing knowledge on a broad range of topics that include organic agricultural success, the inner communication of animals, and the meat-free lifestyle in the Middle East.
In addition, specially invited guest Supreme Master Ching Hai will be speaking via live videoconference on “Being a Vegan – Environmentally Sustainable Food Choice,” followed by a question and answer session with attendees.
